From 6 to 10 April, the largest international construction fair in the region – the 60th Dom Fair – is taking place at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The Dom Fair is the oldest and the largest fair event in Slovenia. This year marks the sixtieth anniversary of its existence, dating back to 1962, when it was a part of the Alpe-Adria Fair, which aimed to promote economic cooperation among the countries under the Alpe-Adria Agreement.
Various services and products, system solutions and advanced technologies for the home, construction and energy efficient building furniture, heating and cooling technology, interior design, security, and landscaping, on 15,000 m2 in all available halls and two additional prefabricated halls, will be presented by 232 companies from 23 countries. Independent experts from the Civil Engineering Institute ZRMK and the ENSVET – Eco Fund Network will be available to visitors every day with free consultations and lectures.
At the official opening of the fair, they will also present the award Quality Mark in Construction (ZKG), a national environmental certificate in the field of construction in Slovenia. It brands products, services, devices, and technologies that meet the highest and internationally comparable quality requirements.
The fair will be open from Wednesday, April 6, to Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday, April 10, till 6 p.m.
The regular ticket is 8 Euros. Discounted Happy Hour ticket – 6 Euros is available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (6 to 8 April) – from 12 to 4 p.m., on Saturday (9 April) – from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday (April 10) – 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors are invited to avoid any crowds by purchasing a ticket via the web page. With an online ticket, they also have a free LPP bus ride to the GR and back.
Each visitor receives a catalogue when purchasing a ticket. As a guide, it takes him around the fair, and at the same time the catalogue is a manual in which you can find several popular articles in the field of construction, a program of consultations and a list of exhibitors with their descriptions and contacts.
